ArtCraft Download: official installers for Windows, Mac & Linux

ArtCraft AI is free to download. There are exactly two official sources — use either, avoid everything else:

⚠ Avoid fake download portals. ArtCraft went viral in October 2026, and copycat sites already repack installers with adware. If the domain is not getartcraft.com or github.com/storytold/artcraft, close the tab.

Windows: install in 2 minutes

  1. Download. Go to the official site and grab the Windows installer (.exe / .msi).
  2. Run the installer. If SmartScreen warns about an unrecognized app, verify the publisher/file name matches the official release, then proceed.
  3. Launch ArtCraft. The editor itself works offline; AI generation features ask you to add credits or your own API keys.

macOS: install via DMG

  1. Download the .dmg from the official site (check Apple Silicon vs Intel build if offered).
  2. Drag ArtCraft to Applications. On first launch, right-click → Open to bypass Gatekeeper for unsigned builds.
  3. Start creating. Local editing is free; connect a model provider when you want to generate.

Linux: build from source (no installer yet)

Packaged Linux builds are still on the roadmap. For now, the documented path is a source build:

After installing: what is free and what needs credits

The editor, 2D/3D scene tools and the seven Crafting Apps are free. Generating images/video with hosted models (Sora, Kling, Veo, Nano Banana…) costs credits, or you can plug in your own API keys. Full breakdown in our ArtCraft pricing guide.
